Hi,
A few years back, I bought an EE sim card at a kiosk at Heathrow. I've got the package it came in, except the sim card itself. Would I be able to use the information on the package to convert it into an eSim once I'm back in London, or even before that?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

To clarify, I got the sim in late August 2022. Still not sure if that's a bit too far.
EE PAYG SIMs are disabled after 6 months of non-chargeable use. You then have 3months grace before the number is irretrievably disconnected. Yours would have been disconnected around late May 2023.

No, no eSims avaible for PAYG.
If it's a few years old the Sim Number has probably expired by now if its not been used.

That would be a PAYG SIM, but EE don't do eSIMs on PAYG, only contract. Anyway even if you still had the SIM after a "few years" of idleness it would've been disabled.

To clarify, I got the sim in late August 2022. Still not sure if that's a bit too far.
