I haven’t received my QR code after buying an EE Tourist SIM. Could this be because I’m still in the US? I’ve been waiting for hours and still haven’t received the email.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Welcome to the EE Community

When you purchase an EE Travel SIM you should get an e-mail with the QR code and some instructions, I would check your spam and junk in case it ended up there. If you have not received this e-mail, you can manage a Travel SIM including downloading by logging in here.

Try logging in there using the e-mail address you used for the purchase and it will show your pass with a View and download pass option.
