Hi. Please can you help me. I was robbed at knifepoint on the way home this afternoon and my phone was thrown into a canal. Obviously no-one can use it now, but my mobile number was my primary contact. Is there any way I can get a new SIM with the same number that I can pop into an old phone?
Thanks.

I've just spoken to a very helpful chap using my work mobile.
He will be sending out a replacement SIM on the same number.
The next issue will be topping up the credit, as I've had to get all my bank cards stopped!!

You need to call CS to report the loss & they will block it & send you a replacement SIM with the same no. to your UK addy.

Replacement SIMs are sent by Royal Mail second-class post, so you could be looking at a calendar week if you do so. Visit an EE retail store with photographic ID, and you can replace your SIM on-the-spot.
Just something to bear in mind with the Christmas period coming up.

Whatever credit that was there before will still be there.
