I don't know if I'm with EE or not and there's no one I can speak to...

I got a pac code from Vodafone and tried to join ee.

They accepted it and a few minutes later I got an email from EE to say there's an issue with my bank

I called my bank and resolved the issue

I then tried to join ee again and was told the PAC code was invalid

I then asked Vodafone for a new PAC code but they told.me they can't give me one as it's already been used

Now I'm here and I'm not sure what  network I'm with

Seems quite stressful to be honest

Thanks

I got this email at about 15:30 yesterday UK time

I'm still not linked up to EE, I've followed all the instructions and I've no idea what to do next.

I've been at it for 2 days now, not sure if this is normal or not

I have the ee app downloaded but I'm still with Vodafone, so not sure what to do

Thanks

ABOUT YOUR ORDER

Hi Liam,

You’ve opted for an eSIM, which means we won’t send you an actual SIM as everything can be done online. Follow the simple steps in this email to get set up.

Your mobile number is ***********. This may be temporary if you’re planning to transfer an existing mobile number across from another provider.

Download your eSIM

To register your EE account and get your eSIM, you’ll need to:

Go to ee.co.uk/go/login and log in with your EE ID, if one has been created for you. If it hasn't, you can set up an online account

Once you've logged in, please link your EE product using the mobile number on this email

You're now good to go - you'll get a pop up to download your eSIM

[Mod edit - removed mobile and account number, please don't share these in public]

You won't be on EE until you get your SIM & activate on EE's UK network.

Okay but how does that happen?

Apparently it's an e sim, so I'm not expecting a SIM to arrive

I've been trying since Thursday.

I've made phone calls,.called into the shop, download the app, came on here for advice and still nothing

I was waiting for a pop up as it said on one of the emails I'll get one but nothing so far.

My latest update is

I've spoken to someone on an online chat feature and they told me it will transfer over on Tuesday 27th

In a way I'm kind of glad but why does it take so long?

I was told on Thursday it will be same day, also I'm a bit nervous that there'll be another issue on Tuesday

Is this normal?

Hey there, @Liam2442

Have you managed to get your eSIM up and running now?

Once your SIM is active and connects to our network, if you supplied your PAC at the point of sale, it will bring forward the number transfer to the next available date.

This can be as soon as the next working day, but if requested after 5:30pm it will be the working day after that.

Peter

No, I've tried everything, someone this morning told me it'll be working by Tuesday, but someone on Thursday said it would be that day and same on Friday

I guess I'll have to wait for Tuesday but I don't feel confident about it

This was someone from EE, it was like an online private chat that I got on, Id post a screenshot but It doesn't have the option

Thanks @Liam2442

If you're still not seeing the option to install your eSIM, but know your number, I'd recommend if possible popping into one of our retail stores.

Provided you have a valid passport or UK driving licence, we can do an immediate SIM / eSIM replacement for your number free of charge.

Peter

I went in the store Thursday but I'll try again tomorrow

Thanks

Ps just out of interest were would the option be to install my e sim?

I'm already on the app and logged in etc
