Hi everyone,
I recently transferred all my data from my iPhone 13 to a new iPhone 16. However, my eSIM (UK mobile number) didn’t transfer automatically, and I’m being prompted to contact my SIM provider.
The issue is that I’m currently in Morocco and won’t be returning to the UK anytime soon. Is there any way to activate or transfer my eSIM remotely while I’m abroad?
I really need my UK number to be active on the new phone as soon as possible. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Most technical solutions are a trade-off with pros & cons, but most recent smartphones have dual-SIM slots.
eSIM are definitely the "flavour of the moment" and very much an in-fashion buzzword...

That’s so true – every solution comes with its own pros and cons.
It’s a real shame that Apple still hasn’t given us the option of two physical SIM slots on iPhones. That would make things so much easier for people who travel often or juggle multiple numbers.
eSIMs are definitely the trend right now, but having the choice would be ideal!

In US, Apple removed the SIM slot entirely starting from iPhone 14.
In China, some iPhone models have 2 SIM slots.
