I accidentally used my current number to activate a new sim. can i change back?

I recently upgarded my laptop and it came with a sim card rather than an esim on my older model and in the struggle of trying to activate the sim on the laptop as it wouldn't recieve an activation text, i used my current mobile number to recieve the text and entered the serial number for the new laptop sim card and instantly the laptop got 5G data. And my mobile phone now has no data and can't send or recieve calls or texts. Also can't get an activation code text over to it so now i'm wondering what i can do next

Welcome to the community.

If you have entered your mobile number, the mobile plan would have been moved to that SIM, so if you pop that into your phone, it should get you up and running again. You'd just need to check the number when it is in the phone.
