I accidentally made an eSIM whilst trying to transfer my number

I got an iphone 17 and a physical SIM with EE and I was previously on an iphone 13 with a physical SIM with sky. I put the new SIM in my phone and transferred all the data from my old phone and also transferred my number but I’ve ended up creating a new eSIM on the iphone 17 with my old sky SIM. The old SIM has my old number and the new SIM has a new number but I want my new SIM to have my old number and I only want one SIM not dual SIM.

@charlie000  you need to ask Sky for a  replacement SIM card.  and you need to put your new EE SIM in your phone and allow it to activate and your number will migrate around 24 hours after that SIM card has activated.  you could even put your old eSIM card in your new device.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

So I put my new SIM in my old phone?

Hey there @charlie000.

Welcome to the EE Community!

If your Sky SIM has now been converted to an eSIM with your existing number, you can also insert the EE SIM which for now will have a temporary number.

To move your number over to EE, if you haven't already you'll need to supply us with a code from Sky called a PAC.

This allows you to move your number, and the Sky SIM will deactivate once the transfer has completed.

You can find more details on how this all works here:

Transfer your number to EE | Mobile Help | EE
