ESim no signal - Pixel 8 Pro

Hi all,

I got a new pixel phone and wanted to use a esim for it.

I went on the EE app on another phone and clicked get a replacement esim for another device. I scanned the QR code from the new pixel phone and it gets added successfully.

However I do not get signal on the pixel. After contacting support I re-added the esim and was told to wait 24 hours however never got signal.

The old SIM card still works however the esim never connects on the pixel.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I've seen multiple threads on forums complaining of the same issues and apparently the only way to fix it is to talk to someone in the escalations team.

@cyclehiccup  Why not do this from the new device?  With your sim in that device?  

We tried download esim to this device and threw and error in the app saying contact support
