Hi,  I recently added a data sim to my account so i can have home WiFi via 4G WiFi mini and I've been receiving text messages from it for someone else from a debt collection agency and from lottogo confirming there draws and winning withdrawals.

what can i do to stop it?

Hey there @P114 😊

Welcome to the EE Community!

With UK mobile numbers there are only a finite amount available, so all networks will recycle numbers when new customers join the network.

There is a period of quarantine of at least six months between a number being disconnected and reassigned, though.

Like @XRaySpeX mentioned, if you get in contact with our customer care team and report the nuisance texts you've been receiving, we can look into your options for changing this.

You may call CS & they'll change your mobile no. for £36. The charge might be waived if you can show you are being harassed.
