Odd title to your question, but E-Sim works the same as a physical SIM card, there is no difference, as to how they work. If you think, in America all new IPhones only have E-Sim no sim tray anymore, although all other countries have both, thank goodness, as I still have the physical SIM card, as if necessary, I can remove it and put it in another phone, if there is a problem with the phone I use.
