Cannot send text to Canada

I have sent a dozen texts today but it has refused to send 3 of them. I have an iPhone 12 and a new ee SIM card

Are you on contract or PAYG? If PAYG, do you have enough credit to send International texts.

I have a $20 credit, but I've never heard of international texting fees! Everyone I contacted yesterday is in my community. It is a PAYG Sim card.

You said you were sending to Canada. Sending texts to Canada is an International text & is chargeable. Is your community in Canada?

Can you text other international numbers?

Hi Leanne, that's the odd thing. I can text all sorts of people at home,
but there are seemingly random persons I can't send a text. It is very
strange. At first I thought it was because that recipient wasn't a Whatsapp
contact or a Messenger contact, but I checked and several of my recipients
don't meet that criteria. It just seems random to me.
