I have never come across a company as bad as EE in my 59 years - can’t email or chat to them. If you want to cancel you must call them which is what I have been trying to do for several days but nobody ever answers and it’s 1hr, 45 mins wait etc etc . The whole company is a Con as you cannot cancel!!!!!! I will never ever give this company a pound of my money ever again and will ensure my companies business phones never use EE again

Hi @Richzev, welcome to the EE Community.
It has always been the case that you need to call to give notice to cancel, and whilst wait times can vary depending on the time of day, I appreciate this is a long time to be waiting to get this sorted out.
Our team are open between 8am and 9pm on weekdays, or 8am and 8pm at the weekend, so I'm confident if you give us another try you'll be able to get through.

This doesn’t help whatsoever - I want to cancel my contract and not change provider as I have a day only SIM. You will see from the link you provided, which content I reviewed weeks ago, you only have one option and that is to call. This is a disgrace and a tactic introduced by many in the communications industry.

I was just fast tracked to a min 20 min que (!) thats a joke? You make it so difficult for people to leave you. I spend 195£ in mobile/month and the service is just rubbish.
