I've been unable to receive any texts for a while, and i just realised i hadn't sent any texts in about 180 days or so, so i thought my SIM had gone into hibernation. When i go onto my EE profile though, it says nothing. I tried texting BALANCE to 150, but it said "Not sent, tap to try again" (Android 10 message app says that)
I looked in my phone's SIM settings, and it also said "Mobile network state: Disconnected", Roaming is off, Service status says "In service"
Can anyone help? thanks 🙂

I gave 0800 079 8586 a call and had to wait like 15 mins to get to customer services, but they managed to reactivate my number 🙂

Does your phone show signal indicators?
For sending texts, ensure your message centre is set to +44 7958 879879

Are you on PAYG? If so, When did you last use it for a chargeable action? EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-use. You then have a further 3 months to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.
You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.

Yeah it has 2 bars on 4g. I did try switching to 3g too, no luck

Excuse me,
i have just got this SIM card that says no expiration. After I plugged it into my phone, I tried to text 150 Help and Balance, but it said ‘Not delivered!’ May I ask if anyone knows why and how to activate the card please?

Good morning, James,
I bought it from eBay; not sure if there is any credit. I am in uk.
This is the second ee card that i have got. When I used the first one, I could still text Help and Balance (it said £0.00).
However, the ee sim that i have got this time does not deliver messages at all. I have tried to credit an ee account and enter the phone number, but the phone number cannot receive text from ee either.
could you please kindly tell me what I can do please? Thank you very much

If the SIM you purchased isn't working, I'd recommend requesting a refund from the seller.
You can order a free pay as you go SIM at Free Pay As You Go SIM Card | PAYG SIM Cards | EE Shop or pick one up from your local EE Store.
