Hi, can anyone help? I’ve had 3 calls to EE so far today and am losing patience.
I am on an old T-Mobile 3G contract that went over to EE when T-Mobile was taken over.
Last week I agreed to a new deal with EE. Yesterday the SIM card arrived. I called 150 on my old SIM to ask how to set up the new one and get the number moved over. They said to put the new SIM in my phone, make a call with it, ring 150 and ask for the existing number to be moved to the new SIM.
I made the call with the new SIM this morning. Called 150 and was told systems were down and to call back in 2 hours, I’ve called back twice now and no joy. Ever since putting the new SIM into my phone and making that call, my old number/SIM can make outgoing calls but not receive calls or texts. EE say their systems are down and cannot help so I wondered if anyone else has had this problem? It’s an iPhone 13 pro max but I don’t think the issue is with the phone. Have restarted it several times …

Could you try calling again now please? Everything should be up and running, so hopefully they can transfer the number over for you quickly.

Hi @Christopher_G - thanks for replying. I found I could also no longer make calls so wasn't able to call them back, but swapped the SIM cards over and my number had moved over to the new SIM, so all good. I think maybe it was in the process of porting when the systems went down or something. Thanks again..
