Apple Watch sim add-on

Hi.  I have an EE telephone contract and I am trying to access/find the £3 per month add-on for an Apple Watch sim, to allow me to pair my mobile number to the watch.  The EE representative, whom I have spoken to for the last 30 minutes, mentioned the deal but was unable to help me find it.  She has access to a 12 month contract at £5 per month, but her manager said that the £3 deal may only be accessed by customers through the EE App or website (which we could not find).

How do I access this monthly deal?

Thank you

Hi @babyreddevils,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

I'm not aware of a £3 Apple Watch plan. When you go to set up your plan in the Apple Watch app, you'll see all available options.

@babyreddevils , you need to have an Apple IPhone to pair the Apple Watch, I take it this is what you have? It does not matter where you got them from, but as @James_B  has mentioned, never seen a £3 plan for the Apple Watch.

Also, the Apple Watch has its own sim number for account purposes, but once paired it will work and you will receive notifications etc and phone calls and make them, the same as you would with the phone.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

Ok, thank you James and Schockwave...I have been given the wrong advice, when I called EE.

I have checked the offer through the Apple Watch app, on my iPhone, and that is £7 per month.  Am I right to assume that the £5 per month, on a 12 month contract, can only be accessed through calling customer service?

Thank you

Hi @babyreddevils

Yes, to set up the £5 plan you would need to call us on 150 🙂
