Advice on replacement sims.

I ordered a replacement sim yesterday but I have a couple of questions, I know it could take up to 5 days but do you get an email when it's been dispatched? I have seen posts of people saying they got confirmation email but it never actually got posted and I desperately need my new sim as I have to return my phone (has esim) and the phone I will be using instead needs a physical sim and it's my only form of contact with family who need to be able to reach me! Thanks 🙂

Brand new lines have a dispatch email sent with the order number. However replacement SIM cards for existing lines don't have a dispatch confirmation email sent- the SIM card is simply shipped straight away by standard post when it has been ordered. 
While we say allow up to 5 working days, they usually arrive in 2-3 days.
