Activating new sim

I've just got a new sim only contract and received the new sim today. My old one appears to have been deactivated (no service) so I'm not able to receive the text with the 6 digit pin to activate the new sim. How can I go about activating the sim without being able to call EE?

All is well now visited our local EE shop and they supplied me with another SIM card apparently the SIM card sent to me in the post which I received on Friday had not been activated correctly before it was sent to me and now everything is ok and new sim in my phone and it is working fine . Thank you for your help
