Activating new sim

I've just got a new sim only contract and received the new sim today. My old one appears to have been deactivated (no service) so I'm not able to receive the text with the 6 digit pin to activate the new sim. How can I go about activating the sim without being able to call EE?

Hi Leanne 

Just got a sim card from my work technically though our IT department and it won't work..did ring a EE number with no help ..and later I talked with someone though the help chat same thing no luck even if I've sent them proof of the card they've said that it's not an EE registered number ...any chance you could help me ..thanks
