iPhone 16 pro max stuck on activating eSIM screen.
says “you can continue setting up you’re iPhone while your eSIM is activating.”
but there’s the spinning ring at the bottom, and cannot leave that screen. Has been 20+ mins, probably longer.
Anyone else had this and have a solution?

After 45 mins on hold i got through to someone, he said he would contact Apple and then got put on hold again, after a few minutes the call ended it self.
I was on a chat with EE at the same time however, and they now have said i need a new SIM card. So a trip to the EE store tomorrow it is I guess.

I was actually lucky, as my solution worked and the e-sim had transferred to new phone. it’s now copying data and is receiving calls and texts.
Looks like this is going to be a big issue, but I think I dodged a bullet!

Fixed!!
I held down the lock button and volume down, and shut down the phone. I then turned it back on and it started the process again and it just worked this time.
