26 hours after inputting replacement SIM and still no network

Hi, I have an OPPO phone and yesterday at 10am put in the replacement SIM, same number as previous one, as I lost my last SIM card, so it says it doesn't need me to activate it and I wouldn't be able to anyway as you need to receive a text to do so. There's still no network connection even though it says max 24 hours. I've turned it on and off multiple times and reinserted the SIM card and no luck. I can't contact EE for help because the only options are to text or call and I can't do either without connection to a network!
