Coverage in Market Harborough

Update: 10 October 2025

Over the past few weeks, our engineers have completed building the equipment needed for the new mast. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, we expect the transmission to be installed by the beginning of November. Once the transmission has been installed, we can confirm an approximate on-air date for the replacement mast.

We will keep you updated on this post.

We are in the process of replacing a mast in the Market Harborough area as the current lease has expired.

A replacement site location has been found and we’re in the process of building the mast. However, due to some unforeseen complications, it is not yet live.

We'll update this post once we have more information.

We’re sorry for any inconvenience. In the meantime, you might be able to use WiFi Calling to make and receive calls and texts.

That’s pretty poor for us paying customers that can’t even access our internet without WiFi surely you should compensate us knowing your mass lease is up awaiting your response

@Phil491   If you can prove it’s been detriment to you then you will be entitled to a refund for loss of earnings.    Network issues do occur that are out of EE control and you accepted that that would you agreed to the contract.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

I'd be interested which clause in the T&C you're basing that on. I think you may struggle to argue consequential loss is covered automatically.

This news article was posted last week, so hopefully normal service will resume this week, as indicated by EE.

It’s been over 2 weeks now since I’ve been unable to get a usable data connection, while O2 has been working fine in the same area. Much longer and my EE contract will be getting cancelled.

Any update on getting this new mast up and working ? I go past the new mast on Northampton Road each day and no work has taken place for months and has to remembered that you actually installed this back on 7th May so have had plenty of opportunity to get the this up and running before removing the previous one. If this is not going to be made live soon why can’t we have one of the temporary units you use at festivals ?

I do hope that after all this waiting that signal will be better and SA enabled as previously speeds have been poor when the town is busy at weekends and school holidays
