Unable to make calls from Portugal

I am aware a number of EE users in portugal have had an issue making calls after the power outage 5 days ago. My wife and I still cannot make calls (including WiFi calls)

How do we fix?

thanks chris... so that means waiting - and you think once the
portuguese cellular masts recovered from the power cut it will
automatically back to normal ? hope so it is more than week ago...

No ee haven't got back to me they say they are looking at it but nothing happening

My husband and I are exactly the same! I spoke to EE and they are aware of the issue but currently don’t have a solution  and couldn’t give a timescale for when it will be fixed - very frustrating 

it is frustrating ! i could change provider from NOS to Meo and it worked
for a day... then the phone was not allowed no more to connect with Meo
and it meant back to no phone calls...

We are in Portugal and can't make mobile calls back to the UK. We have Roaming on our contract and our mobile data is on. We are automatically connected to NOS but have tried MEO and Vodaphone manually with no joy. Whatsapp and messenger are both OK. We have tried turning our WIFI off but still no joy. We have tried turning our phone on and off and still no joy. Any more ideas please?

Are you on EE PAYG or pay monthly contract.

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

Yes we are using the Country code and yes we have a 2 year contract with ee. Thanks for the advise.

Yes exactly the same issue I have not resolved contacted ee via Twitter and help on app. No help.
