@Naveen1013 : Often just rebooting the phone is the simple remedy. Also try selecting a network manually rather than auto.
Did you receive a Welcome text upon arrival?
Are you on contract or PAYG? Had you used that SIM for making calls or texts in UK before leaving to go abroad?
If you are on contract, did you activate roaming on your EE a/c before leaving UK by texting ROAMING to 150? Having a roaming billing add-on doesn't of itself activate roaming on your a/c. Having roaming activated on your EE a/c, not just on your device, is crucial to using your contract SIM abroad.
Otherwise if you are on contract you need to call CS to get your roaming activated. Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. using a web-calling app over WiFi.

Hi @Naveen1013
Welcome to the community.
We can certainly try to help you, but we'll just need a bit more information.
When you say that you can't call back to England, what is happening when you try to call?
Is it happening on every call?
Have you tried to manually connect to another network to see if that works?
Do you have a pay monthly contract or pay as you go SIM?

Hi,
Please can you clarify whether your phone has successfully connected to a French network and that a signal is showing ? The French networks are Orange, Bouygues, Free and SFR, so the phone should display something like "Orange 4G".
If WiFi Calling is switched on, turn it off because it's not designed to work abroad.
When calling the UK from abroad, there can be issues if you're using a saved contact that doesn't include the country code for the UK (+44). This happens if your device attempts to connect it as a local call, not knowing that you're trying to call back to the UK since the code wasn't included.
Try typing in the number with the country code for the UK. This is done by inserting +44 before the number and removing the initial zero.
For example, if the British number you're calling is:
07*********
You call:
+447*********
Hopefully this works. If not, there are other things which can be checked.
