US roaming charges confusion

Hi

Ive just joined EE as my old phone plan did not have good roaming charges for the US and I will be living there for 4 months so wanted to find somewhere that supported roaming there. I was told EE was good as they had a roaming pass for £25 a month extra that you can add on when needed. I even called up EE to check I would have access to this before I took out a plan online but now my plan is set up it looks like all that is available to me is a £5 24 hours pass or a £25 7 day pass which is not beneficial to me at all. I understand I may need to be on a ‘full works plan’ but I did not see an option for that when signing up and can not see how much it would be to upgrade. I’ve tried calling customer services but I am just met with pre recorded messages that eventually end the call and send me a text of information I already know. I will be upset if this can not be sorted out as I only switched to EE for this reason as a normal plan is more expensive than the previous company I was with.

Thanks for the help!

There's several "Full Works" plans listed under SIM Only in the shop, currently £29 a month, but it's probably best you call and discuss as you are a new customer and hopefully you'll get your call answered if you keep trying.

For 4 months, I'd be looking at a local eSIM as well, helps to have a local number rather than an international one.
