Hi,

Do  I need to txt RoamEU before travelling to Spain for 4 days?

Can I use mobile internet for free as I have unlimited?

What is the cheapest way to use my mobile for calls and/or just my mobile internet in Spain?

Thanks.

The purpose of texting ROAMING before leaving the UK is to ensure your phone has permission to use foreign networks and thus will have coverage abroad.

Within the EU, you can use your UK allowances for voice calls, texts & mobile data (with a 50GB FUP) for either £2.59/day or £15/week

Your plan may include this, that can be checked via https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile/roaming/roaming-costs

Thank you!

Where would I check if my plan includes allowances available to use in Spain?
If I just start using my mobile internet at once I'm in Spain, will there be 50GB FUP available with my Unlimited UK plan?

What is the name of your plan? The link given above by @bristolian for Spain should also tell you.

You will be able to use up to 50GB data per billing month of your unlimited plan, regardless of whether the charges for roaming are included within your plan or not.

In regards to 50GB data I was only interested if this can be used in Spain. The question was not about using them in the UK and be charged monthly accordingly.

I wasn't talking about UK. You asked about Spain & I answered about Spain. In fact the 50GB FUP applies globally.

So is it 500GB or 50GB FUP?

How could I approve using them in Spain?

If I choose to pay £2.59/Day instead should I text ROAMING?

What amount I will be allowed to use in Spain if I choose  £2.59/Day then?

Sorry, typo, corrected : (  !

What approval? You don't need to approve anything, just use data up to the FUP.

I ment do I need to do anything on my arrival to Spain if I choose to pay £2.59/Day or if I choose to use 50GB/Day without paying anything additionally?

What amount of GB will be provided for me if I choose to pay £2.59/Day?

Within the EU, a flat-rate roaming regime is now in-place. You'll receive a free text message on arrival to your host country to confirm your free roaming facility is working, and pricing details.

As soon as you make or receive any calls, send any text messages or use mobile data, the daily £2.59 charge will be triggered and that will cover use of your UK allowances.

Within that text message will be a link offering the weekly pass if you'd prefer - but once the daily charge has been triggered, you can only take the weekly pass once that 24hour period has expired.
