Hello,
I would like to enquire about the 7 Days £15 Unlimited Data Travel eSIM for Visitors.
If I purchase this plan online, will the QR code required for activation be sent to me by email? As I am based in Romania, I am unable to receive any physical mail.
I intend to use the eSIM with an EIOTCLUB eSIM adapter and therefore will not be able to install it directly through the My EE app.
Additionally, could you please confirm whether it is possible to purchase two Visitor eSIMs under the same account?
Thank you very much for your assistance.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi @M4TTHEW9713
It's great to hear you've chosen EE for your visit to the UK!
Before arriving in the UK, you’re invited to buy an EE eSIM through our Travel eSIM landing page.
From there, it’s quick and easy.
Once done, we’ll email you a QR code to download your eSIM, so you're ready to connect the moment you land.
We can't guarantee it will work with the any eSIM adapter, and it's not something we support, however when you place your order you'll also be given the eSIM activation details so that you can enter them manually without using the QR code.
This may be useful when setting up on your eSIM adapter app.
If you're unable to add an additional Travel eSIM using the same EEID account, you can simply set up an alternative EEID using a different email when you place your second order.
Hope this helps!

Hi @M4TTHEW9713
Welcome to the community.
It's great to hear you have been looking into our 7 days £15 unlimited travel data eSim.
You can find full information about Travel eSIM'S on our website.
I know you have mentioned that you are currently based in Romania, the sim will need to be activated in the UK and connect to a UK mast in order for it to be registered correctly.
Thanks
Ritu

Hello Ritu,
Thanks for the reply, but unfortunately it does not answer my question, and neither does the Travel eSIM page on your website.
I want to know whether the eSIM is sent as a QR code on my email after purchasing it or I am forced to install it via the app.
Also, I want to know if from the same account I can buy two eSIMs, because I will need them for two people.
As the website does NOT answer my questions, I hope for a complete response from someone this time.
Thanks in advance!
Matthew

@M4TTHEW9713 , all sims have to first be activated in the UK, so whether you get a QR code or not, it would still need activating in the UK, so not sure what you are expecting, also cannot answer about buying two sims, which would still need activating in the UK.

Hello,
I know that all sims must be activated in the UK, but I was asking if when I purchase the eSIM I will receive a QR code via email which I will use to activate it in The UK or if I will NOT receive a QR code and I will be forced to add the eSIM to my phone via the app.
I am asking this because my phone doesn't natively support eSIM technology, so I am using an eSIM adapter which requires a QR Code in order to activate an eSIM on it, I cannot activate an eSIM directly from an app.
The second question was simply if I can buy two eSIMs from the same EE account, this has nothing to do with the eSIM activation.
I hope you can understand my questions now and give me an answer to this.

Linky don't compute! Corrected (superfluous 'EE' at end of URL):
