I’ve just received a text today to inform me as below;
“Hi from EE. We've removed your Travel Data Pass - if you didn't ask for this, it's because we're shaking up our roaming products. Please go to ee.co.uk/go/roamingrefresh for the best way to stay connected on your travels. Thanks.“
My SIM only contract began in 2018 and I’ve not changed, upgraded or renewed it since then, am I now expected to start paying daily when I’m in Europe?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi @BNAgain
Welcome to our community.
We are removing any of our old roaming products from customers accounts as we have a new range. The travel data pass was not an inclusive EU pass, so any EU roaming you had previously will be unaffected by the removal.
Hope this helps 🙂

Hi I also had this text, buit I'm not sure what your last comment meant. In simple words, does this mean that when travelling in the EU, those who received this text message will still be able to use their data allowance for free?

Sorry for any confusion @geekygreeky
The Travel Data Pass is not a free EU roaming product.
If you already have inclusive EU roaming, this won't have changed and you will still be able to use your allowances.

@Lesley_W : Do those, like OP, who had inclusive EU roaming from contracts starting before 07/07/2021 still have inclusive EU roaming after this roaming shake-up?

Hi @XRaySpeX
Yes, they will.
Anyone who already had it included before the change, whether because of contract start date or the plan they are on, will continue to have it included.

I don't think that is made clear in Roaming Refresh or the roaming tool (it used to be with a Q about it). It wasn't called an "Inclusive Extra" in those days.
