You'd added to a thread about roaming, but your post just mentions about your spend cap.

Do you have a query or issue with your EE mobile service? Can you explain it if so?

Can anyone help, ive activated roaming, settings on mobile all allow international calls etc, increased spend cap, brought roaming pass but still can't call out or receive incoming  calls.

@Dippydawn108 did you text roaming to 150 to enable roaming on your account? before you left the UK
Purchasing add-ons doesn’t enable roaming. It’s just an add-on that keeps cost down. 

have you tried restarting the device since you got there? Have you tried a manual network search to see if you can find a different network to connect to ? 

enabling settings on your phone doesn’t enable roaming on your EE account. It’s a setting on your phone and it has no bearing on your EE account. 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hiya, yes I messaged roaming to 150 before I left, got text when arrived in usa to offer roaming pass, purchased pass which is activated, I have turned phone off and on, selected different  network  manually, can access data, get onto WiFi, send/recive  sms  messages but can't call out or receive  normal calls. I had same issue  in June when I was in ibiza and last December  when in futerventura but never been able to resolve. It's driving me crazy.

You've demonstrated that roaming is enabled and if you're sending & receiving texts, then it's working. Have you been able to make or receive calls on this trip previously? What happens when you try making a call?

Do you have any problems making calls when in the UK? Can you use mobile data whilst on calls?

Hi, thanks for replying. 

Never been usa before but it did exactly the same when I went to ibiza and  futerventura. 

I have no problems calling when home in the UK. As soon as im abroad it says this service is restricted when I try to call out, anyone trying to call me gets this number is currently  unavailable

Hi @Dippydawn108 

I'd recommend checking to see if increasing your spend cap resolved the issue.

Also, I'd recommend checking that you turn off WiFi Calling, as WiFi Calling is only available in the UK.

If neither of those options help, and you have access to a friend or family member's phone, you can give us a call so a guide can get this investigated for you.

Increasing spend cap and  turning off WiFi calling didn't help and nobody with me can call either. I did receive a call today from 0300 number which worked but nothing else. 0300is from dwp
