Roaming not working

I,have seen that and tried today couldn't use it no,message until,I,left republic bck,to uk,maybe it was as I was waiting for number transfer as I,couldn't even make a call,

You can find full details on estimated transfer times and advice in our Transferring Your Mobile Phone Number to EE page. 

If you're using the EE SIM card with the temporary number, you will receive a text when the transfer has started 🙂

Did you text ROAMING to 150 before travelling to make sure the account was set up to use in Ireland?

Was told I only had to switch roaming on  by the customer service team , and if didn't connect to switch off auto select Internet connection and to select myself  , which I did but didn't seem to work my brother who was with me tried calling me he is on EE aswell but he could use his phone but I couldn't even make a call or send message  , I never had this with bt and at the moment I'm sorry almost for switching wish I had left things alone  .

Hi @Lera1502 

You're account would need to be activated for roaming if you had no service and unable to locate a network this may have been the reason. 

Please text ROAMING to 150 or call us on 150 if you're back in the UK and the team will make sure everything is set up correctly for you.

So am I going to have to text roaming every single time I go there aaahhhhhhhh why did I move

Also I've been waiting on my old number being transferred from BT I just received an email from BT saying they have my number sent too EE can you advise when transferred will be completed

OK thanks have just received text restarted phone but does it change number automatically in my EE app or do I have to edit number

The number transfer can take up till midnight to fully complete @Lera1502 

Once this has completed, the app should update for you. 

If this is showing the temporary number tomorrow, please try deleting and reinstalling the app 🙂
