Roaming in the middle east

I work in Iraq for 8 months of the year, and I have 2 phones, one with a local sim and this one. Yesterday I turned this phone on and surprisingly iraq is now covered in my roaming pass and my phone works as normal. Today everything has stopped, now I can only receive texts from EE and nothing else. Can anyone give some advice on how to connect my phone again, rather not be paying 2 phone bills. Thanks

Hi @FoyleyBoi,

Welcome to the EE Community

If you have a full works plan this includes EU and Zone 1 roaming and Iraq does come under Zone 1. So if you do have a full works plan it should be included. Have you tried performing a manual network search and connecting to a different network to see if your service works?

To benefit from EE's roaming plans you need to be not abroad for more than 2 months in any 4 month period.

Hello @FoyleyBoi

Thanks for coming here.

Have you received any message regarding stable links policy?

What happens when someone calls you?

When was the last time your phone was used in the UK on the EE home network?
