Hi all,
A query about the Roam Abroad Pass.
I wanted to check if I had the perk activated whilst abroad in the US, am I able to receive calls from +44 numbers (UK) without charge?
Reason I ask, I added the perk on when I arrived and it wasn’t working. So I received callback from EE CS who tried to rectify it - but after 5 different call backs; non of the agents could resolve it.
To make things worst, they even de-activated my Spending Cap.
But really wanted to check if inbound calls are inclusive under this perk.
Thanks
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Am I wrong to interpret that as minutes, sms and data should be inclusive now?
confirms what you are concerned about.
Receving calls is inclusive, immaterial of where the call is from. You have a UK number, and thus all your incoming calls will be from the UK. Even someone calling you from the USA will be making an international call to the UK, which is then routed abroad to you.

Eh? Doesn't follow! What follows is that all your outgoing calls will be from the UK.

If you have a UK number, then all your incoming calls will be routed via the UK.
Even someone calling you from New Zealand will be making an international call to the UK, which is then routed abroad to you.

@bristolian : Actually it doesn't matter where an incoming call is considered to be coming from. It's the act of receiving that will be charged (outside EU + 5) or not charged (inside EU + 5).

As per my first post in this thread, "Incoming calls, regardless of source, are included in the Roam Abroad pass"
As per my post of 8.13am today, "Receiving calls is inclusive, immaterial of where the call is from" (in the context of a Roam Abroad pass)

Hi all,
Thanks for your time. I spoke to another CS rep yesterday, he confirmed that the level 2 tech that I spoke to whilst abroad remarked the incident on my account and stated to refund any roaming charges during the period as they couldn’t fix the data roaming problem.
So the call charges that are currently sitting unbilled, I should not have an issue getting them removed when the next bill is generated accordingly to them.

I’d like to know how I can actually ask a question and not just reply

@Milomaisey12 : If it's a Roaming Q which is where you posted: Ask a Q
