My brother arrived in Spain today and is having the same problems. I tried to sort it by phoning EE but they are closed. The app and EE online are undergoing maintenance. It would have been better if we could add the 7 day pass in advance from the UK before travelling. This is causing my brother and I a lot of inconvenience. I hope the app works soon. I will phone EE in the morning but my brother cannot use his data etc from Spain at the moment.

What exactly is happening on the phone?
Are you picking up signal from a local network and did you get a welcome text when the phone was switched on?
Are you able to use the app this morning?
