@Emil25 It seems like its probably removing it at the end of your current billing date then if is still active until the 21st.
With regards to the charges from using the pass and potentially removing the pass before the 21st the best thing to do will be to give us a call. You can call us free from abroad on +44 (0)7953 966 150 on your mobile.
Or you can also call free using Skype and calling +44 800 079 8586.

Are you on contract or PAYG? Had you used that SIM for making calls or texts in UK before you left to go abroad?
If you are on contract, did you activate roaming on your EE a/c before you left UK by texting ROAMING to 150? Having a roaming billing add-on doesn't of itself activate roaming on your a/c. Having roaming activated on your EE a/c, not just on your device, is crucial to using your contract SIM abroad.
Often just rebooting the phone is the simple remedy. Also try selecting a network manually rather than auto.
Otherwise if you are on contract you need to call CS to get your roaming activated. Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. on Skype over WiFi. It should be free.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone
ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Yes - contract account which has been set up for roaming and I texted ROAMING before I left. The message I received before leaving was that I would get a text message on arrival in India with options (weekly or daily).
The text message has not arrived.

Does your phone show a connection to any Indian networks? You need that to make or receive any calls, send or receive any texts, or use mobile data.
If not, then one of two things is likely the cause.
1: You don't have global roaming enabled on your SIM - let's see screenshots of the texts you exchanged with 150.
2: There's a problem with one or several local networks in India. Try manually selecting each one in turn, and/or toggling flight mode.

Great news, your device is all set to roam in India. To use your allowances as you would in the UK, you'll need to buy a pass when you arrive. The charges are:
£7.50 for 24 hours
£37.50 for 7 days
If you don't buy a pass, it'cost:
Calls: £2.34/min
Texts: £0.76
MMS: £0.83
You will not have access to mobile data unless you buy a pass.
We'll send a text when you get there about how to get the pass.
If you want to talk to us, please reply CALLBACK and one of our Guides will call you back.
If you have got all the information you need, please reply END to finish this interaction.
Thanks.

I have not received this offer in India.

Hi there @Emil25
Thanks for coming to the community,
Do you have signal on your device?
If you visit add-on.ee.co.uk, do you get the option to add the roaming pass?
Leanne.

Problem is - I don’t see the option for the 7 day discounted rate. Can you help me to access that please?
Thank you,
Matthew

@Emil25 The pass should be available on that add-on link when connected on an Indian network. If you have a 500mb allowance currently that would suggest you have the travel data pass active on your number which may be preventing purchase of another pass.
If you check your list of active add-ons does that show and does it have the option to remove?

I’ve checked and I have full roaming and travel data packages active at the moment.
Should I cancel one or both of these?
Will the 7 day offer then be available?
Thank you,
Matthew

@Emil25 Full roaming you need to keep on as that allows you to connect, but the travel data pass is an old product that has now been replaced by the new 24 hour and 7 day passes. What do you see currently when you visit the add-on link, is it just showing you the 500mb you currently have?
Removing the travel data pass should show you the new pass options of the 24 hour or 7 day options to use your plan allowances once the old one runs out.
