Roaming Confusion

Hello, I'm not the best at finding information on the EE website and would be really grateful if somebody could provide me with a simple answer with regards Roaming charges.

My SIM Only contract has just expired, I had an add-on I could change once a month which I did on occasion between Europe and USA for inclusive roaming (free). Now I'm out of contract I presume that just carries on as it did. However I'm thinking of taking out the  "EE Multi SIM Essentials SIM Unlimited Max" 24 month plan but I'm really confused - is everything in Europe / USA still included within an add-on? Will I be paying a daily charge if I switch?

Thanks v much

No, EE Essentials plans include no roaming costs. In EU you would be paying £2.59 / day or you could buy an EU Pass for 7 or 12 days. In US you would be paying standard per-unit roaming rates for calls & texts or you could buy a Zone1  Pass for 1 or 7 days.

  • Only the EE Essential Plus, All Rounder or Full Works Plans cover EU roaming.
  • Only the Full Works Plans cover Zone 1 (incl. US) roaming.
