Also having same issue.  Switched to EE from BT a month ago with two SIM only mobile phones (mine and my sons - both iphones) - nothing but issues.   I fell for the EE Broadband and two unlimited data/text/calls sim deals.  

Also tried the same things as noted above - spent two hours last week each day with EE Customer Service - no resolution.   Made several trips to EE store - still no resolution. 

Things tried

  • Customer Service reset my account each day (then told to wait 24 hours)
  • new SIM
  • amended account to pay as you go (new SIM again)
  • changed phone - to friend that is working EE customer and to phone in store
  • ensured latest software update on phone
  • offloaded unused apps/data on phone
  • reset network settings on phone
  • confirmed no VPN on phone
  • ensured only one SIM on phone 
  • toggled EE network selection on and off
  • Roaming off, Mobile Data Options - Voice and Data set to 5G Auto, and Data Mode - allow more data on 5G - phone.  

I now have a Level 3 ticket open with EE - and they have 7 days to resolve (was 5).  All last week when I phoned for update they continuously advised that could leave EE at no charge - I think they want me to  leave and not hopeful of a resolution. 

Will provide update on this thread - when I receive one - interested to see if you get a resolution - or if you are also forced to change mobile provider.
