I'm on a cruise in Norway. On board I use the ship's WiFi and keep my phone (Samsung S24) on aircraft mode. My phone keeps setting my location to Baku, Azerbaijan.. when I go ashore I chose roaming on a day by day basis, and with mobile services I'm getting my correct land location.... but as soon as I'm back on board it insists I'm back in Baku. Has anyone else come across this? and any suggestions how to resolve it please?

Sounds like the location-based functions on your phone may be doing a reverse look-up on your IP address, which if you're using the ship WiFi, will be coming from whatever backhaul internet connection they are using.
This is easily tested by using the https://www.whatismyip.com/ website
