I have an issue with the global roaming pass working on an intermittent basis. When it stops working it then starts charging me and I’m having to get this manually refunded each time.
This issue has been going on since the beginning of September and is a known issue to ee, at present there no resolution or time frame towards a resolution.
During the first time this happened the agent removed and re added the global roaming pass add on. I understand I can do this myself via the app? However if I do this I have read that I will not be able to re add the pass for another 30 days ? Is this actually the case as the previous agent did not advise me of this !

Having just spoke to ee they are experiencing unresolved issues with global roaming pass since the beginning of September. I had the same problem at the beginning of September and agin last week. I have intermittent access to data and calls and it regularly activates my spend cap which I’m having to get refunded manually by calling them each time.
all very frustrating!

@Lauralisette22 : Are you roaming between diff countries or between EU & non-EU countries?
The Roam Abroad Pass is not global but just valid in EU + 5 specified non-EU countries. It could be that you are roaming into countries where it is not valid & so you are being charged there.
The Roam Abroad Pass can be started & stopped at any time but when you stop it in the middle of a billing period it is still operative until the end of that billing period.
