Hi. My European unlimited data and call package doesn't seem to cover Gibraltar.
Does anyone know what the situation is?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

@JohnF65 : Gibraltar is part of the EE EU Zone & counts just like any other EU country.
You may use your usual UK allowances in the EU with up to 50 GB (contract) or 25 GB (PAYG) data per billing month if you have more. If on contract & your contract started after 07/07/2021 there'll be a £2.47 / day charge for using your UK allowances in EU unless you already have the Roam Abroad Pass for £25 / month or already have it as an Inclusive Extra. Alternatively you may buy the 7-day EU Pass for £15.

Thanks. I have the 50gb for Rurope, but it isn't working in Gibraltar and I can't get anyone at EE service to even tell me ifvthey have shut Gibraltar out of the EU package.

They haven't! It must be for some other reason.
Are you on contract or PAYG? Had you used that SIM for making calls or texts in UK before you left to go abroad?
If you are on contract, did you activate roaming on your EE a/c before you left UK by texting ROAMING to 150? Having a roaming billing add-on doesn't of itself activate roaming on your a/c. Having roaming activated on your EE a/c, not just on your device, is crucial to using your contract SIM abroad.
Often just rebooting the phone is the simple remedy. Also try selecting a network manually rather than auto.
Otherwise if you are on contract you need to call CS to get your roaming activated. Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. on Skype over WiFi. It should be free.

Did you activate Roaming on your account by texting ROAMING to 150 from the UK before going abroad? While you have a billing addon to cover you in these countries, roaming still needs to be enabled on your account in order to allow you to connect to foreign networks.

Hi. When I cross borders, I get a message to sign up to daily rates even though I have a package that gives 50gb of data. So I do not sign up to a paid service.
Do they send misleading messages to everyone without knowing what your account covers?

By getting text messages whenever you enter a new country, that's proven that the free roaming facility is enabled - you have access to foreign networks.
Is your reference to a 50Gb package, referring to your UK allowances? Or the 50Gb FUP on inclusive roaming?
