Hello everyone,
I’ve been using my EE SIM in Pakistan for almost 2 years now, and it has been working fine until recently. A few days ago, I received a text from EE stating that I need to make a chargeable call or send an SMS to keep my SIM active. However, when I tried to make a call or send an SMS, neither went through. Despite this, EE deducted my entire balance as an "adjustment" and sent me a message saying my SIM will be deactivated in 3 months if I don’t use it.
Today, I topped up £20 again, hoping to resolve the issue, but I’m still unable to make calls or send SMS. The only functionality I have is receiving texts. Has anyone else faced this issue? Could this be related to roaming restrictions, network settings, or an issue with EE’s system?
I’d appreciate any advice on how to resolve this. I don’t want to lose my number, and I need to be able to make calls and send SMS.
Thank you in advance for your help!
