Clarification on Charges While Travelling in Asia

sofiac
Visitor

Hello 🙂

Could you kindly confirm if, during my travels in Asia, I won’t incur any additional charges beyond my standard monthly fee, provided I don’t use the EE SIM card?

Thank you very much for your support and assistance.

@sofiac : If you don't use your EE SIM at all, not even for receiving calls, you won't be charged anything. Best switch your phone to Flight Mode.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

Hey there @sofiac 😊

Welcome to the EE Community!

As @XRaySpeX mentioned, provided you don't use your SIM then you shouldn't be charged here.

You aren't charged to receive texts, and for data you always need to opt-in to an add-on in order to connect.

The one thing to be aware of is voicemail, as if you decline / miss a call and this diverts you will be charged at the local rate for the duration of the message.

You can avoid this by switching diverts off, just send us a message with VM OFF to 150.
