the data ran out on my pack (I use it only for data with a dongle so please don't tell me to call anyone) and I renewed the pack early but still no data - I paid 40 pounds for an add on of unlimited data for 30 days. I still have no data and EE have just taken 67 GBP from my bank account

What does texting AL to 150 from your no. fully report verbatim (it is free)?

Have you ever sent a text from a dongle?

Hi @ET1236

You should be able to view and send texts in the connection manager, full details can be found in our What texts will I get on my 4GEE WiFi device? Help page.

Can you try going to add-on.ee.co.uk on a device connected to the WiFi router, do you have a data allowance showing?

Leanne.

Yes, often. Login to your MBB router at http://192.168.1.1 with username/pwd as "admin"/"admin" or with the admin password found under the battery cover & look for the SMS section.

I have had multiple interactions with EE about this and nobody has mentioned this before - bit late now as we were without internet last night

I am sorry this was not mentioned @ET1236

Did you get the information you needed?

the internet on my dongle ran out after 9pm. I paid for a new subscription pack which was supposed to kick in immediately. It didn't do anything so I paid for a month of unlimited internet. This was also billed as 'immediate' but took about half an hour to register (bit frustrating in middle of something). I spoke to someone yesterday to get the 27 GBP for the subscription pack refunded, they didn't refund me but put it as a credit on my account. I will no longer need the dongle when I move in a month so I do not need any EE credit - I would like my 27 GBP refunded.

Hi @ET1236

Thanks for coming back to me.

You would need to contact our pay as you go care team again to discuss any possible refunds, they will have access to your account to help you further 🙂

Leanne.
