pay as you go roming in spain

Hi I am travling to spain in september will a pay as you go Data add on work, I only want to use data ,not calls or text.The data add on says UK&EU Data.

Thanks for coming to the community. 

If you have a Pay As You Go phone, you’ll now be charged to use your minutes, texts and up to 25GB data allowances in our EE Europe zone. You will need to add the roam like home add-on.

You need to have an active pack in order to buy the "Roam Like Home" add-ons to use your UK allowances in UK:

1. You must have an active Subscription Pack to opt in to these charges

2. We’ll text you when you arrive so you can opt into either the £2.50 or £10 add-on

3. If you choose not to opt in to these charges or if you don’t have a an active Subscription Pack, you will be charged the standard roaming costs: 70p a minute and 30p a text and you’ll need to buy a data add-on (500MB for £3)

What I dont understand is when I look on the PAYG  add_ons  on the ee app it says UK & EU Data what dose that mean?

A good Q! It seems to mean you may only use them in the EU when you have an active pack & you have bought a "Roam Like Home" add-on.
