When i try to text or call, i get a message that i have not got enough credit (paygo) yet i have over £20 in my account!
Trying to get in touch with ee is hopeless, gonna go somewhere else I think!.

I understand your frustration at not being able to call or text, especially when we rely on our phones so much now.
If you text AL to 150 from the phone, what is the message that you get back?

When did you previously make a chargeable action? EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-chargeable use. You then have a further 3 months period of grace to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.
You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.

After finally getting an answer to my phone call, it was discovered that my
phone had been in hibernation. Being not used very much.
