Unable to use the phone number due to payment overdue

I have a PAYG sim and i have been travelling to China for a long stay since May 2023, I rarely use the number to call or use data but mainly receiving sms. 

I just found out the number is not working anymore although still shows signal, calling using the number returns a voice message says payment overdue. I have topup 10 GBP but nothing changes. How shall I sort the problem out since via enabling roaming or buying sub pack? I am not able to link the numebr to my account again. 

It would be greatly appreciated if anyone can help.

Thanks for coming to the community. 

If you haven’t used your phone for any chargeable activity for 179 days then your account will go into hibernation and any credit will be removed. After 273 days we’ll assume that you no longer wish to keep your account and we will recycle the number and all credit remaining will be lost.

To see if the account can be removed from hibernation, please call us on +44 (0)7953 966 150 from any phone.
