Hi there. Before I left the UK in March, I was changed to a pay as you go and told to send a text message to a UK number every 3 months to keep the number active. I activated my number before leaving the UK and topped it up with £5. I tried sending a text message to a UK number today but it keeps saying delivery failed. Any assistance would be very much appreciated

@Sabyj Do you have credit on the account to pay for the text ? Did you use that sim ( send a text make a call ) as a PAYG sim in the UK before you left the UK ?

Dozens of people reporting the same. It looks like a bug. We can only call CS and ask for reactivation. Hopefully EE eventualy recognises the issue and fixes it.

There aren't dozens of people reporting the issue that @Sabyj is reporting in this thread.
Further help can be offered to Sabyj with answers to the questions posed.

When was your SIM moved to PAYG? It takes 30 days notice to cancel a contract & before it is moved to PAYG. Had that change taken place while abroad you can't now use it at all while abroad. To be used abroad EE PAYG SIMs need 1st activating on EE's home UK network. If it wasn't you can't now use it until you return to UK.
