So I have bought the pay as you go SIM card some months ago with the 20gb for £10. It worked the first time, however the second time I only got 8gb and I have checked my adds on for the remaining 12gb but it’s not there.

How many some months ago? You only get the promotional extra data for the 1st 3 months.
