Hi,
Hope someone can help.. short story, but here goes.. I left the UK in January 25. I cancelled my Direct debt before left. I briefly continued to use the UK sim whilst here in Australia to sort a few things. I then forgot about it and then started to receive claims emails regarding an overdue amount. I logged into my account and then paid the outstanding amount. I am now trying contact EE to stop the SIM only plan but can I hell get in touch with them. The sim doesn't work anymore. My only options is to call the UK. My contract term says it ends 6th Jan 25.. so it should have ceased but for some reason it is still going.
Can anyone help or assist..?

Hello @Jimbo_69 ,
Welcome to the community,
is this for pay as you go or monthly contract?
Contracts do not automatically end, just the minimum term, and you should have given 30 days notice to end your contract, as it will otherwise continue. If Networks did just end the contract at the minimum term, then a lot of customers would not be happy.
You do have to make the call to end the contract, unfortunately.

From your comment that "the SIM doesn't work anymore", it may have been suspended for non-payment at some stage.
You can contact EE-CS from any working phone, but it will be a UK number to call. If you can find a web-calling app that allows free calls to UK 0800 numbers, you can use that... but if so, please post back with details of the app you find.

Cancelling your DD doesn't cancel your obligation but puts you at risk of marring your credit history & nasty letters from debt collectors as you'll still be owing EE money.
