Google Play Charge To Bill Issue

IntoTheDawn

Hi Everyone!

First time posting, so bear with me! I've just gone to charge something to my mobile bill on Google Play - something I do regularly - however the option wasn't there. It's not showing up as an available option on the app, or as something I can add.

I've also been through the payments bit of the Google website and it says EE <insert my number here> 'The account is closed'.

Now I definitely haven't done anything with regards to closing the account, and have no wish to do so either, so I'm confused as to where Google Play could have gotten such an idea?

I'd really appreciate if anyone has any suggestions!

Thanks for the quick reply!

I tried that, but the automated message back said that because its a multi-line account, they couldn't verify that I was the account holder (I'm the only person on the account, with the same mobile number I've had for over 20 years, and a tablet with a sim that I only added last year 😂) so couldn't do anything unless I rang them up.

I've just been through and manually removed EE Billing as the backup payment method for several of my subscriptions, which then enabled me to remove it as a payment method on the website. I've since re-added it and it's working again! Total faff on, but it seems to be sorted!

Will definitely be saving your suggestion in case I need it in the future though!
