My pay as you go has been paid and isnt due to for repayment for another two weeks. I cant even text 150 because the texts do not send and when i try to call any number it says the number you have dialed can not be reached because of service restrictions. I went from the UK to Slovenia before and never had any problems, i would simply just pay a little extra money for roaming in another country but this time i cant even text 150. I figured out a solution for all those going abroad, sometimes your phone will automatically connect to a service provider that does not work in the country you are visiting. Settings, Mobile Networks, Network Operators, Turn off automatically connect and connect to one of your choice and that fixes the problem.

@nasimletaief : Did you move it from contract to PAYG?

Had you used that PAYG SIM for making calls or texts in UK before going abroad? To be used abroad EE PAYG SIMs need 1st activating on EE's home UK network. If it wasn't you can't now use it until you return to UK.

I had already used the pay as you go sim for making calls and texts in the UK before going abroad. In september i had used this sim to go from the UK to Slovenia and i had no problems. If i ran out of roaming time i would simply text to 150 ROAMEU7D but since going back to slovenia a few days ago i am unable to call anyone or text anyone including 150 due to service restrictions. I can still receive calls and texts.
