Hello, I have been having issues with receiving texts and also sending. I thought it might have something to do with my phone, or perhaps the SIM? Please could you assist with this?

Are you able to text AL to 150 from your no. (it is free)? What does it fully report verbatim?

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. The phone message simply states 'Failed to send'

For sending texts, ensure your phone's Messaging app has the Message Centre no. setting for EE as +447958879879.

Ok, added the number you reference to my contacts. Typed 'AL' to that number. 'Failed to send' and 'Not delivered'

No, not your Contacts but in the Settings of your Messaging app.

I have a Huawei and in the messaging app I am not sure where to add that number. Any ideas?

That's Android, isn't it? On my Samsung Andriod you open Messaging app, then Settings > More Settings > Text Msgs > Message Centre.

Yes you are right, it's Android. So, I went in and to 'advanced' (probably same as more settings on Samsung Android), then in the 'SMS Centre Number' I have that number in there. However, in red text it states: Warning, you may not be able to send text messages if this is not set correctly. nFor the SMS centre number, contact your service provider.'
Make sense?

Not really!
